The primary focus of this Committee is to assist with the City's Community Policing program. Every month, representatives from the Back Bay, Fenway, South End and Roxbury neighborhoods meet with police officials from Area D to discuss quality of life concerns and crime prevention initiatives. Other participants include the Newbury Street League, the Back Bay Association, the Mayor's office, Councilor Ross' office, the District Attorney's office, the Probation office, and an attorney for civil complaints.
