This non-partisan Committee focuses on educating
voters about concerns in the Back Bay in order to stimulate voter interest
and increase voter turnout on Election Day.
Often, the Committee will work in conjunction with the Beacon Hill Civic
Association, the two Ward 5 political committees and neighborhood newspapers
to generate interest in political issues. (Click on

To this end, Candidate's Nights are often held concerning the City
elections, featuring spirited debate and discussion among elected officials,
candidates for office and residents from the Back Bay and beyond. Issues
include commercial development, community safety, the environment, city
and state finances, trash and rodent control… even dogs!
