This committee provides technical support in all matters pertaining to the City's zoning code - including precedence, compliance, enforcement and the appeals process.

The committee assists the Licensing and Building Use Committee, the Architecture Committee, and other NABB committees in working with the City's zoning-related agencies - the Inspectional Services Department, the Boston Redevelopment Authority, the Back Bay Architectural Commission, and the Architectural Access Board.

Because it serves in an advisory capacity only, the committee does not itself meet directly with applicants relative to any issue, or establish policy or precedent.
